Isograph, a prominent software company based in Warrington, has been acquired by PeakAvenue, a German engineering and quality management software company. The acquisition price remains undisclosed. PeakAvenue is a portfolio company of Main Capital Partners since 2022. It aims to bolster its offerings in the Safety Engineering software domain with this latest move.

Isograph, founded in 1986, has carved a niche for itself with its comprehensive suite of reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) solutions. Its expertise in Fault Tree software has made it the preferred choice for blue-chip clients globally. With offices in Warrington and Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, Isograph boasts a robust client base exceeding 1,900, spanning various sectors like Aerospace, Energy, Defence, and more.

Strong market-fit and future prospects

The acquisition signifies a seamless integration of complementary strengths. Isograph’s prowess in Fault Tree Analysis and Functional Safety will fill a vital gap in PeakAvenue’s portfolio. This synergy is expected to unlock cross-sell opportunities, particularly leveraging Isograph’s strong customer base in the UK and USA. Richard Pullen, co-founder of Isograph, expressed enthusiasm about joining forces with PeakAvenue to develop solutions that cater to the evolving needs of clients and enhance software web development.

David Simmons, Corporate Finance Partner at Azets in Manchester, highlighted the success of this cross-border deal amidst challenging economic conditions. This acquisition underscores the potential for growth and innovation in global industries. PeakAvenue plans to extend Isograph’s reach in Continental Europe and incorporate its software into the PeakAvenue Cloud Platform. The plan is to have an integrated and web-based suite across the entire product lifecycle.

The merger is poised to set new benchmarks in quality, system safety, reliability, and asset performance management. With approximately 155 employees dedicated to the cause, the combined entity aims to lead the market in engineering and quality software solutions.
