The iPhone 15 comes at a price point of 949 Euros in Germany. The latest AI-powered ‘voice isolation’ feature enhances call clarity in noisy settings, such as busy trains or public areas. Additionally, Apple has incorporated the USB-C charging port for the iPhone 15. This port, already in use for iPads and Macs, ensures uniformity across Apple devices in line with the latest EU regulations. Moreover, the AirPods Pro is set to adopt USB-C, promising quicker charging.
The iPhone 15 Pro, priced at $999 in the US, boasts an array of extras for avid Apple enthusiasts. Its larger counterpart, the Pro Max, will cost $1,199. Designed for durability and lightness, the Pro version sports a ‘grad five’ titanium case. Interestingly, Apple revealed this is the same alloy employed in the Mars rover. Additionally, this model introduces a side-placed customizable action button. Previously, this spot housed the mute toggle. Now, users can programme this button for various tasks, including swift camera access.

Apple’s A17 Pro chipset, housed in the iPhone 15 Pro, is said to outperform its predecessors by tenfold. Such prowess equates it to some PCs, optimising high-resolution mobile gaming experiences. The Pro version’s camera is also a highlight, featuring a 48MP lens. Furthermore, it possesses a superior lens with 5x optical zoom capabilities.

Starting at $899, the iPhone 15 Plus comes with a 48-megapixel main camera and the new A16 bionic chips. It showcases a 6.7-inch display, mirroring the flagship model’s features but with a larger screen size.
Innovative additions
Users will discover the Dynamic Island, an exclusive pill-shaped cutout. Previously available only in the iPhone 14 high-end lineup, it displays notifications and other activities. It adapts fluidly, offering real-time updates on various tasks and events. The iPhone 15 also sports an OLED Super Retina display, enhancing visual experiences with 1,600 nits of brightness.
Apple has also introduced Contact Posters, enhancing user customisability. Live Voicemail displays real-time voicemail transcripts. Additionally, the Messages app gets a fresh look with new stickers. Users can utilise the Check In feature, updating loved ones on their safe arrival at destinations. Similarly, Name Drop facilitates contact detail sharing by simply aligning two iPhone devices.
Lastly, the StandBy feature provides users with a full-screen, glanceable experience, ideal when the iPhone is charging on its side.
