Wipro Limited, a prominent technology services and consulting firm, unveiled its Cyber Defense Center (CDC) in Dusseldorf, Germany this week. This marks the 17th such centre by Wipro, with other CDCs strategically located globally. Their purpose is to render localised support while also meeting customer cybersecurity and regulatory needs. Amidst escalating cyber-attacks and the amplified focus on data protection, the German CDC promises clients continuous cybersecurity monitoring, incident management, and rectification support.

In continuation of Wipro and Microsoft’s international alliance, this new CDC will harness Microsoft’s range of cybersecurity tools. Notably, the Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Defender for IoT solutions will be at its forefront. The CDC will conduct bespoke cybersecurity exercises, offering clients invaluable training on real-world cyber scenarios. The goal? To rigorously test their cyber defences and gauge their total cyber resilience.
